Sales & Use Tax/License Inspection Department

The Baldwin County Sales & Use Tax/License Inspection Department is responsible for the collection of Sales Tax, Seller's Use Tax, Consumer's Use Tax, Lease/Rental Tax, Motor Fuel Tax, Wine Tax, Video/Rental Tax and Tobacco Tax and the enforcement of the State of Alabama/Baldwin County Business Licenses.

The following form may have limited functionality in some browsers. Please download completed form and email to salesandusetax@baldwincountyal.gov if you do not receive confirmation of successful submission.

If you would like to remit taxes to Baldwin County, simply download and fill out an application.

E-file Your Baldwin County Sales, Use and Rental Taxes
Sales, Use and Rental Taxes can now be electronically e-filed and e-paid via the Alabama Department of Revenue website.

Consumer's Use Tax Information
This tax should be reported by individuals who purchase items over the Internet, catalogs, etc.
